OilSmart Pump Switch and OilSmart Alarm Systems
High Liquid Level Alarm and Pump Controls
For elevator sumps, underground utility vaults, tank farms,
secondary containment areas, & pits.
Every once in awhile a product comes along that does what nothing else does, or does it better than anything before it. This is it! The OilSmart pump controls and alarm sensors lets you safely pump water only!
Got Elevator Code Problems? Oilsmart Systems Are The Solution!
OilSmart Pump Switch and Controller
OilSmart High Liquid Level Alarm
OilSmart Hard Wired High Liquid Level Alarm
Oil Water Separator Oil Level Alerting System
The OilSmart Simplex Panel, when combined with a manual sump pump, will automatically pump water without the risk of pumping oil into the environment. Additionally, the system alerts maintenance or building personnel in the event of a high oil or high water condition. Installation of the Simplex Panel allows you to comply with Elevator Code ASME A17.1 and State/Federal regulations while reducing the risk of adverse publicity, fines and expensive cleanup costs.

OilSmart Pump Switch and OilSmart Alarm Systems
Complete OilSmart System: OilSmart Switch, OilSmart Pump and OilSmart alarm
Our OilSmart Systems incorporates pump controls and alarm sensors that differentiate between oil and water, allowing companies to responsibly discharge the water without worrying about contamination
- Directly controls sump pumps 0 to 1 hp(piggyback): quick installation
- Available in 120 VAC, 230 VAC 50/60 Hz., or 12/24 VDC
- No expensive electrical panel required (but SIMPLEX panel available)
- Sensors differentiate between oil and water
- Differential between on and off comes in 2.5″or 6″ models
- Available with or without a piggyback plug
- Helps satisfy elevator code ASME A17.1 and EPA, The Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plan and testing made SO EASY
Sensing is accomplished by measuring the dielectric constant of the medium at the sensor. To prevent cycling the pump off and on the sensor has two sense points; one to control the water level for pump turn on and one to control the point to turn the pump off. The separation of these two points are controlled by two independent sensors that connect to a logic circuit which works as follows:
- When the water level reaches the top sensor the OilSmart water pump switch will turn on and pump until the lower sensor is uncovered.
- The OilSmart pump switch will turn off and stay off until the top sensor is again covered by water.
SUMMARY
Installation of the OilSmart water pump switch allows you to comply with State and Federal regulations and reduces the risk of adverse publicity, fines and expensive cleanup costs. The OilSmart water pump switch prevents inadvertently pumping oil contaminated waste into the environment.
